FAQ
Do you stock different types of drywall screws?
Yes — 25mm fine thread for standard single boarding into steel, 32mm coarse for timber brandering, and 41mm fine thread for double boarding and firewall applications. Ask us if you’re unsure which to use.
Do you stock accessories for suspended ceilings?
Yes — purlin clips, tie wire anchors and steel sure drives for both T38 suspended grid systems and T37 concealed grid (flush plastered) ceilings.
What tape should I use for drywall joints?
Fibreglass self-adhesive mesh tape — available in 45m and 90m rolls. It is quick to apply, sticks directly to the board and provides strong reinforcement across the joint before jointing compound is applied.
Do you supply locksets?
Yes — we stock 2-lever and 3-lever locksets for interior doors. The 2-lever is standard for most interior applications; the 3-lever provides enhanced security.
Is sandpaper available in different grades?
Yes — 80 grit for initial sanding of dried jointing compound, and 100 grit for the final smooth finish before painting.
Do you have tools available for purchase?
Yes — we stock a full range of tools and consumables including trowels, tin snips, spirit levels, Stanley knives, drill bits, chalk lines and more. Everything a contractor or DIYer needs to complete the job.
